THE BESPOKE WHEEL GUIDE

Your wheels.
The right choices.

The design catches your eye. Proportions and finish give it a place on your car. These pointers will help you prepare your configuration and a detailed quote.

Monobloc, two-piece or forged: what is the difference?

Monobloc and two-piece describe how a wheel is constructed. Forged describes its manufacturing process, rather than an equivalent third type of construction. The WR-1 monobloc has an integral face and barrel. The WR-1 two-piece uses an interchangeable face, allowing the design to evolve while retaining the barrel. The forged monobloc XX and forged SKUD offer two very different looks within the collection.

Diameter, width and offset: three different dimensions

The diameter in inches does not define a complete fitment. Width, offset — also called ET —, bolt pattern, centre bore and brake clearance all matter. Different front and rear sizes may be considered depending on the car; they cannot be interchanged without checking.

Use the configurator to compare the sizes offered for each axle. Include the exact model, generation, year, brakes and any suspension changes in your enquiry. On-screen size choices are visual options, not confirmation of a suitable fitment.

Concavity and lip: choosing the proportions

Concavity is the depth of the design towards the centre. The lip defines the wheel’s outer edge. A deep face and a pronounced lip create different visual effects. Brake clearance and the space within the wheel arch guide the proportions appropriate for your car.

Compare the G2 for BMW M3 and M4 G8X, the open spokes of the NN and the five-spoke F5 from several angles.

Face colour, surface finish and polished lips

Colour and finish are separate choices. Matte, satin and gloss black reflect light differently. Silver, bronze or your own shade: try a colour on the design you like, then compare it with the bodywork.

On applicable models, including the WR-1 two-piece and F5, you can configure the lip independently of the face. The 3D preview helps you compare combinations; the final shade and appearance still need to be checked on a physical sample.

Exposed bolts, a centre cover or centre-lock mounting?

A centre-lock-style cover dresses the centre and can conceal the bolts. It does not convert a multi-bolt wheel into a centre-lock wheel. True centre-lock fastening requires a compatible, specifically assessed mounting arrangement. Displayed options depend on the wheel model and available variants.

Preview wheels on your car in 3D

The library includes previews for the BMW M4 F82, Porsche 911 GT3 992, Ferrari 812 Superfast and MINI Cooper S F56, among others. Select your car in the configurator; if it is missing, a specific enquiry lets us take your project further.

How do you get a price for bespoke wheels?
